Worcester Guitar Lessons aim to provide top quality, in depth and highly experienced tuition to anyone from all ranges of age and ability.
Music theory, scales, sight reading, notation, scoring music, big & small band arranging, aural skills as well as how to learn songs and getting to a level to go out work in the music industry or for own personal enjoyment.
Worcester Guitar Lessons also teach through the grades and can go much further in to the depths of advanced harmony and use it in practical ways so you know the fretboard inside out.
We provide guitar lessons throughout Worcester and Worcestershire near you or online (see online page for options).
Lessons are tailored to the individual from the ground up on so no stone is left unturned. Easily applicable, practical and efficient so that you can apply the knowledge gained to your own musical situations.

About your guitar tutor…
Alex Albrow is a Guitarist, Teacher, Composer and Producer of over 20 years experience and Managing Director of Worcester Guitar Lessons.
Has a DBS Check.
Masters with Distinction + Concert Recital Diploma (Mmus) Jazz guitar at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. (rated one of the top music schools in the country) graduated 2023.
5 years teaching experience prior to masters.
Composed and produced records with Grammy award winning artists such as Van Hunt, D’angelo, Erykah Badu, Bilal, FKA Twigs, Damon Albarn (Blur, The Gorillaz), Questlove (The Roots, Jimmy Fallon), Cory Henry (Snarky Puppy), Ahmad Jamaal, Nick Hakim, Oumou Sangaré, Ron Carter (Miles Davis), Big Yuki (Pete Rock, Antonio Sánchez), and many more...
Other sessions include working on a record with Graham Nash (Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young) and Allan Clarke from The Hollies.
Made several albums with original project ‘Poquet’ featuring artists such as Grammy Award Winner Van Hunt, Alan Evans (Soulive), Toussaint Liberator (Soulive), Grammy nominee Kokayi (Nate Smith/ Terri Lyne Carrington/ Tim lefebvre), Toussaint Liberator (Soulive), Charles Jones (John Mayer/ Vulfpeck/ Scary Pockets), Lauren Kinsella (Snowpoet).
Performed at Ronnie Scott’s with original band; Poquet supporting incognito for a 3 night run in 2020.
Full time working musician and performing gigs every weekend with various bands.
Have worked in many session situations as well as cruise ships traveling the world, functions and pantomime too.
